ESU License Plates

What better way to show your Warrior pride than to have an ESU license plate!  These specialty plates are available for Pennsylvania residents and feature the ESU logo.  


Directions for PA residents to apply for an ESU license plate:

  1. To be eligible for an ESU license plate you must be the registered owner of the vehicle.
  2. You must have a Pennsylvania driver's license.
  3. You must be a current student, alumnus/alumna or friend of East Stroudsburg University.
  4. You must fill out sections A and D on the official state form.
  5. The name on the plate application must be the same as the name in which the vehicle is registered.
  6. Plates cannot be ordered with personalized numerals, letters, or a vanity message.
  7. ESU plates are restricted to passenger vehicles, trucks, and motorhomes with a gross weight of not more than 14,000 lbs. 
  8. You must enclose a check for $35 payable to ESU Foundation.
  9. You must send the check and form to:

Once your check and application are received the college will certify that you are a current student, alumnus/alumna or friend of ESU and place your order with the state. It takes the Department of Transportation four to six weeks to produce the plates. Your new license plate will be sent directly to your home from the Department of Transportation.
