What is the Warrior Fund?

The Warrior Fund provides unrestricted, current-use support that allows ESU to respond to immediate, critical needs of the university and its students. Unrestricted funds can be used for any purpose and assist when the unexpected happens. Money raised through the Warrior Fund is used in the current fiscal year and resets to $0 every July 1. 

Why is the Warrior Fund important?

Tuition, state funds, and earned income from the endowment support the university but do not cover the entire operating budget. The rest comes from private individuals— alumni, parents, faculty, staff, friends—and corporations who recognize the value of an ESU education.

What does the Warrior Fund support?

Academic and athletic scholarships, faculty and student research programs, clubs and recreational activities. When the university has an unanticipated need, the Warrior Fund is there to help. These funds are administered by the East Stroudsburg University Foundation.
